Our Commitment

Organizing, presenting and managing the FORTitude is part art and part science. The City of Fort Collins, Visit Fort Collins, the Fort Collins Chamber of Commerce, Colorado State University, and BOLDERBoulder Inc. are pleased to put on the FORTitude Labor Day 10K Classic.

Since 2017 more than 14,500 have registered to be a part of the FORTitude 10k. We are committed to creating an event that will become a Labor Day tradition. Our passion and commitment is to deliver an amazing experience for all participants, spectators and volunteers, and we aspire to make the experience better, year after year.

Committed to the Sport of Running

Our USA Pro Chase race will finish around 10:40am. Join us after you finish your 10K to cheer them on inside the stadium.

In 2019, we launched the FORTDashers Program as a preparation program to involve kids from local Poudre School District Middle Schools to train through the summer to participate in the FORTitude 10k. FORT Dashers registration is $26 and includes one race entry, a cool FORTitude 10K shirt, lunch, and bottled water.

Committed to Honoring First Responders Who Serve Our Community

We thank those who have given us all so much.

Since 2018, we’ve been partnered with Shields 616 and local First Responders. They are a local organization raising funds to equip every first responder with necessary gear. They provide a support group for First Responders and his or her family on a daily basis. You can donate $2 of your race entry to support their cause by using code 19FORT616 when you register.

Committed to Our Local Community

The FORTitude 10K on Labor Day celebrates the best of Fort Collins and Colorado State University, finishing at Sonny Lubick Field at Canvas Stadium.

We always look forward to our incredible Race Day EXPO where we get to partner and share the day with various Fort Collin’s local businesses.

We offer work for free entry positions where folks can work prior to race day in exchange for a free entry to the FORTitude 10K!
